St Stephen's claims to be the loveliest late Victorian Church in England. It has a splendid choir and organ and prides itself on the quality of its music, hosting many concerts, recitals and arts groups throughout the year.
The buidling itself was designed by Pearson, who said he wanted to build a church which would 'bring people to their knees'. It certainly is a beautiful, dignified and striking place of worship, one of the few Grade 1 listed buildings in Bournemouth.
